Why I am supporting this Charity
After many years of supporting the fantastic Bury Blind Society with raffle prizes and them being my charity of choice.
I am so pleased to now be a trustee and volunteer fundraiser! I am passionate about local, independent charities and already organising the Steps For September Challenge.
Those of you who know me and how this charity aligns with me personally too. I lost my left eye at the age of 4 to childhood eye cancer and wear a prosthetic eye. I am very fortunate that my vision is good in my right eye and this is the perfect time to give back.
